I want to talk to you…

My first post….so much pressure for it to BE something!  It should be funny, or meaningful, or political, or….something.  I don’t think it will be.  It will be me, just musing about whatever is on my mind or happening in my life each day.  My life may seem small to some (stay-at-home mom with three teenaged sons whom she is…gasp!….homeschooling! She probably has no life!) but it isn’t.  It’s pretty big, to me. I love it. I always have something brewing in my mind, even on boring days.  Those are the things I will tell you.

Just so  you’re aware, likely topics may include: food, baking, dieting, family, dreams, books, movies, people, friendship, twitter, facebook, gardening, weather, more food, more baking, more dieting.  Please come and talk with me!

  1. I remember how anxious I was publishing that first post. Exposing my heart to strangers compelled me to pour over my words when I should’ve been sleeping. But it didn’t take long for the strangers to become friends. That is my favorite part of blogging, the amazing people I’ve met and am now honored to call friends.

You are doing great! I look forward to reading about your life and dreams!

    1. Renae, I thank you again for your encouragement in this blogging business! 🙂 I appreciate it so much!

  2. Woohooo!!! I’m so excited you’ve started a blog! Can’t wait to read your musings. And if you open that bakery that will be just another reason I have to visit Texas. 🙂

    1. Who needs a reason to visit Texas? You just come on! 🙂 Thanks so much for your encouragement, Amy; I appreciate you and I love reading YOUR blog! I wonder if I can add it to my blogroll, though it’s not at WP? Hmmm…

What do you think?
